DC United 0 Portland Timbers 2
DC Desperately need a win. They didn't get it.
Portland are still to be beaten on the road, and Rod Wallace's first half strike ensured that this record was to remain intact. Nagbe's second highlighted DC United's frailty at the back.
Comfortable for the Timbers.
Montreal Impact 5 Philadelphia Union 3
An 8-goal thriller. Philly are much-improved this time around, and scoring three, you'd expect the Union to take all three points.
They took home nothing. Nada. Zilch.
Great game.
New England Revolution 2 Toronto FC 0
Diego Fagundez is in fine for form for the Revs, and netted once more for New England.
Five consecutive defeats now for Toronto: looking bleak...
FC Dallas 1 San Jose Earthquakes 0
It goes from bad to worse for the Quakes, last year's Supporters' Shield Winners, this season struggling to just make the Playoffs.
It's eight games unbeaten at home now for the Texans - Castillo's 32nd minute strike settling the clash.
It's still no road wins for the Earthquakes...
Colorado Rapids 2 Chivas USA 0
It's six unbeaten now for Colorado, while Chivas USA continue to struggle.
Ten minutes in and the Rapids were already ahead: Atiba Harris scoring a great team goal.
Chivas had their chances, but Colorado's second, through Nathan Sturgis, was hardly surprising.
Rapids Rising...
Real Salt Lake 1 Chicago 1
The start of a four-game home run for Real Salt Lake began with a 1-1 tie with the Chicago Fire. For most of the game it was the Shaun Johnson show, making some excellent saves for Chicago.
Goalless until the 78th minute, the Fire were riding their luck, and it didn't last. Saborio's header absolutely unstoppable.
But Johnson deserved something for all his hard work, and only the most biased of RSL fans could deny his Man of the Match performance when Quincy Amariwkwa leveled at 84 minutes.
Sporting Kansas City 1 Houston Dynamo 1
A bumper crowd witnessed this top Eastern Conference clash in Kansas, and both sets of fans could go home safe in the knowledge that their team worked hard for the point. A shocking refereeing decision looked like giving Houston a penalty, luckily the referee had the courage to listen to his assistant and wipe out his initial decision: that took balls.
But there was no denying Brad Davis: his stoppage time finish a classy way to end the first half.
But KC were not to be denied, and Kei Kamara's strike was an absolute peach.
Fair result.
New York Red Bulls 2 Columbus Crew 2
Our Tipster, Uncle Sam, told you to back Columbus, plus one goal.
He was right.
Unlucky not to get all three points, Higuain's penalty shocked the home crowd.
LA Galaxy 4 Seattle Sounders 0
Our Tipster, Uncle Sam, liked the look of Seattle to cause an upset in Los Angeles.
He was wrong.
The Robbie Keane show: three goals a re-taken penalty after a bad decision, it was all over before the end of the first half.
