FC Dallas v San Jose

FC Dallas v San Jose

Dallas with a 9-point lead on Quakes?

Bizarre...

FC Dallas v San Jose Earthquakes

Saturday, May 25th, 20:30 EDT

 FC Dallas Stadium

FC Dallas sit confidentially at the top of the Western Conference, even after last weekends defeat to Seattle at CenturyLink Field, they currently have 24 points from 12 matches. The high scoring game ended up 4-2 to Seattle, despite a  goal from Kenny Cooper assisted by Michel in the 54th minute, Midfielder Michel scoring his own from a corner kick 7 minutes later.
San Jose Earthquakes have won just one game in the previous nine only managing another 1-1 tie against the Colorado Rapids at the Buck Shaw Stadium. Despite the rapids playing with a man down, after a tackle from Shane O'Neill brought down Chris Wondolowski outside the penalty area. They currently sit in 6th place in the Western Conference with 15 points from 13 matches.
The Quakes are unbeaten at the Buck Shaw Stadium, However they seam to be stuck in a tie holding pattern, something they desperately need to break .
Last time out:  a rapidly improving Seattle Sounders hit four past FC Dallas. The San Jose Earthquakes  repeating the feat tonight is a tasty 23/10 with

Earthquakes head coach Frank Yallop said
“It’s not from a lack of effort, which would be a problem if it were, but it isn't  I like our effort right now, our drive. We have to play with a little more confidence and a little more guile around the goal.”

San Jose's Chris Wondolowski the 2012 MLS MVP is one to watch he's scored 3 goals against Dallas in their last 5 meetings. FC Dallas will want to pile on the pressure early in the game, as the Quakes make mistakes at the back when dealing with speed. Dallas need to play upfront and keep up the speed.
Its no coincidence that  are offering 5/1 on Blas Perez (FC Dallas) being first to score, with Chris Wondolowski (San Jose Earthquakes) 11/2
SkyBet are offering 6/5 from for a Dallas win.  But more interestingly CoraLatest Sports Offers are quoting 9/4 on the tie, and looking at San Jose's season so far this is a good bet.
