Impact v Union

Impact v Union

This is a BIG game in the East...

Montreal v Philadelphia MLS Soccer

Impact v Union

Saturday, May 25th, 19:00 EDT

First Paragraph match report
Last time out: despite scoring in his own net, Matteo Ferrari made amends with this injury time winner over Real Salt Lake. A repeat 3-2 home win for Montreal today is 28/1 with

William Hill Casino
With the New York Red Bulls firing on all cylinders at the top of the Eastern Conference, neither of these teams can afford a slip-up here.
A home win for the Impact, and the gap between them and the Philadelphia Union grows to an impressive five points. A win for Philly and Montreal are overtaken by the Union in fourth.
Told you it was a big one...

Fever Hot Spot: if you think the Impact can win -1 goal,
will give you a rather tasty 7/4.

Montreal's form overall is impressive - they've only lost twice so far - and one of those was a tight 2-1 reverse to New York. Philly's two 1-0 wins over Chicago have been battling affairs, and highlight their never-say-die attitude. The Fire could consider themselves unlucky to lose both games (check out the home loss to the Union below for proof), but you can't help but admire the Union spirit.

Fever Hot Spot: if you this will be equally tight, you may be interested in the Even Money offered by
on there being under 2 goals.
An added advantage for the Impact is the extra week's rest they've had, while Philadelphia have been hard at it. It's hard to put a price on extra hours on the training ground, practicing those set pieces, spending time with family and friend and avoiding airport departure lounges. Add to this an unbeaten season-long home streak for the hosts and you can see that Philly's task is a tough one.

The Impact have a real hot shot on their roster this time around, in the shape of Marco Di Vaio. He's now netted four times in his last five games and is tied for second in the MLS Golden Boot Standings: with the Union's road record of 8 scored and 8 conceded, it might be wise for them to try and double-team this guy wherever possible.

Further positives for the Impact include a recent tie in San Jose (no mean feat) and Philly's inability to keep clean sheets (only three so far this season).

Fever Hot Spot: if you believe that Philly's legs will tire, you might like to check out UK Sportsbook They are offering a rather tidy Even Money on the second half having the most goals.

Conclusion Time: A rested, impressive Montreal set-up should prove simply too hot for a battling Philadelphia: take the Even Money with

William Hill Casino
It really is a standout price...
