The Impressive Sporting Park, Kansas

The New York Red Bulls will first and foremost be hoping for a win against Vancouver, but second-best would be a draw between these two.

The Red Bulls currently sit atop the Eastern Conference with a two-point cushion; by the end of this weekend that could change dramatically.

The Montreal Impact visit Kansas on a high, with only two defeats so far this season and a massive 2.09 points-per-game average: they will be confident of taking away at least a point.

Fever Hot Spot: should you fancy the Canadians to make a splash, you can get a very large 23/20, with a one goal start, courtesy of

As for the Hosts, and despite their current third place, KC come into this with a bit of a scoring problem, having scored two or more goals just four times so far this year.

On the plus side, the defensive numbers are equally impressive, with Sporting only conceding two or more goals three times as well.

But with Montreal scoring bagfuls and Kansas enjoying home advantage, you can still expect plenty of goal action in this one.

Fever Hot Spot:  should you fancy a goal-fest, look no further than the 59/10 on offer with your friendly neighborhood

Vancouver to cause an Upset? Could be Value...

MLS Top Picks

Friday May 31st

Vancouver are improving.

An excellent 3-1 defeat of the LA Galaxy, followed up with a solid home tie with a Trailblazing Portland Timbers (see what I did there?) gives the Whitecaps a real chance of causing a shock at Eastern Leaders New York Red Bulls.

The Bulls have the points in the bag, but looked far from convincing against the Galaxy, and struggled to make it to parity next time out with Columbus. Should it end in a tie - as looks quite possible - you could still be on a winner by picking Vancouver + one goal.

In the Real Salt Lake v San Jose Earthquakes game you can expect few goals to come from the visiting side. The Quakes look like a shadow of their former selves, and have only scored three times on the road this year. With a Points-Per-Game ratio of just 1.07, it's already looking bleak for San Jose.

True, Salt Lake are not exactly tight at the back - so far it's 15 goals conceded - but you've gotta like the hosts' chances here. A RSL victory by one goal looks like the sensible option.

As for the New England Revolution v LA Galaxy match-up, the visitors are vulnerable away from California this time around, and with fifth place within their grasp, you can take New England to be up for this one.

The problem for the Revolution is goals - they have only scored two or more goals three times so far - so the sensible option here looks like taking New England, tie no bet. Victor Chandler's 29/20 is large indeed.
