Philadelphia v Chicago
PHILADELPHIA V CHICAGO
If ever Chicago needed a win in Philly...
Philadelphia v Chicago
Saturday, May 18th, PPL Park
Chicago were extremely unlucky not to get at least a point against the Philadelphia Union at Toyota Park last time out. Lots of shots, possession, hitting the woodwork - none of it means squat if the Union go down the other end and score with a lucky deflection.
McInerney's goal took all three points back to Philly, Chicago left to wonder how the hell they took nothing from the game.
Now they must travel to the Union, hoping that Lady Luck will be a little kinder on this occasion.
Last time out: LA come to town and run out 4-1 winners over a poor Union.
The Los Angeles defeat brought Philly crashing back down to earth, and you can expect a much more rigorous dense of home advantage from the Union today.
Chicago simply must win: anything less and one third in, it's already looking gloomy for the team from the windy city.
With a long history between the two, this could well be a game to savor.
MLS Fever recommends that you take a look at the footage below, try and work out how Chicago failed to register, then take advantage of Will Hill's overly generous 10/11 on both teams scoring today.
Philly have already registered 6 times at home, and Chicago's performance last time out will have them hungry for revenge: expect both goalies to be bending over to pick the ball out of the net today.
It's a fantastic price, and one that should be snapped up like a hungry gator.
WINNER:
Philadelphia Union: Even Money
Tie: 12/5
Chicago Fire: 14/5
BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE?
Yes: 10/11
No: 10/11
TOTAL GOALS:
Under 3.5: 2/9
Over 3.5: 3/1
Philadelphia v Chicago
The Union are dismantled by an Impressive Galaxy set-up.
Last time out for the Fire: The Home game for Chicago against the Union didn't exactly go to plan...
